Shani has a strong desire to empower and encourage others, as she embraces the support and love others have shown her over the years. Shani became a mentor in 2018 on a local mentorship programme and has enjoyed the growth it has yielded. Some of her initiatives to continue growing and developing others as she does so for herself, are the publication of four (4) volumes of a motivational journal titled My G.E.M. (Growth | Encouragement | Motivation) and the creation of a YouTube channel that aims to provide a community for users of My G.E.M. within which to express themselves, conduct introspection and grow.
Shani loves the outdoors, specifically the beach and basks in the challenges and joys of raising her 10-year old son. She is surrounded by a beautiful and supportive community of family and friends who continue to encourage and empower her.
